![]() Gared's sad eyes seem more out of place.) I'm going to chalk this up to Gared's "sad eyes." This is something other characters suffer from, too, but Gared is the worst (Mira is a close competitor but she's also stuck in a castle surrounded by enemies with no means of fighting. ![]() Even when he's single-handedly taking on three enemy soldiers. Frodo sir!" The reality is, no matter how you play Gared, he comes across as a bit timid, even when he's indignant or impatient. I want him to look up with those big eyes and say "But Mr. I like Gared also, though he reminds me a lot of Sean Astin. Unlike captive Sansa Stark, Mira could have returned home prior to the Tyrells even making their way to King's Landing. I suppose it's a way to get one of House Forrester close to Cersei and Tyrion, and the ensuing dialogue and conflict is well worth some suspension of disbelief, but I'm not sure it makes any sense. Still, it's odd, isn't it, to have a loyal Stark woman tucked away at King's Landing in service to the Tyrell's? The Lannisters have been at war with the Starks, including their bannermen like Lord Forrester, yet Mira is perfectly fine at King's Landing. In particular a dialogue with Cersei and Tyrion. It's also the most shocking of the three narratives. Ironrath is a cool fortress, also, and the supporting cast here is the most robust. I think Ethan's story is the strongest, with the best confrontations and most interesting choices. Will Mira be the good maid and play nice for Cersei? Or will she spit defiance? Will Ethan put up a strong front when his rivals come looking for blood, or will he choose diplomacy? To some degree you can play each how you see fit. Each of the three playable characters has an interesting role to play.
